Behavioral Services
Overview
- Who:
- Children with an open Alabama DHR case (at-risk children, foster children, etc.) AND
- Living in: Autauga, Bullock, Chilton, Elmore, Jefferson, Lee, Macon, Montgomery, Shelby, Russsell county
- What:
- Behaviors such as aggression, not following instructions, bedwetting, screaming, running away, poor play skills, etc.
- Where:
- Foster/biological/adoptive homes, preschools, schools, etc.
- When:
- Intensity of services is determined on a case-by-case basis
- Cost: FREE
- Other information:
- Medication reviews are included for all clients
- Anyone can make a referral
Medication Review Services
Overview
- Who:
- Any child with an open Alabama DHR case (at-risk children, foster children, etc.)
- What:
- Comprehensive review of the child's medications by a Child and Adolescent Psychiatrist and/or a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner
- Cost: FREE
- Other information:
- Behavioral services are not provided for Medication Review cases
- Anyone can make a referral

- You can earn up to 7.5 continuing education credits!

- Each video and quiz you complete takes less than 30 minutes and gives you 0.5 education credits.
