About
The Auburn University Music Project’s Strings Program offers group instruction classes designed for beginner string players in grades 3-5 as well intermediate group classes for budding string instrumentalists. All sessions take place at the Jan Dempsey Community Arts Center unless otherwise specified.
Our program is led by Auburn University Music Project coordinators and are assisted assisted by passionate undergraduate music and music education majors. This ensures a high-quality learning experience where students not only learn to play but also gain valuable insights from music professionals.
We believe music education should be accessible to everyone. Our affordable fees and limited number of partial need-based scholarships make it possible for all students to have the opportunity to learn and enjoy a musical instrument.
Join us and be part of a supportive and inspiring musical community. Sign up today and start your musical journey with us!
