The Department of Music at Auburn University is a vibrant community of musicians, educators and supporters of all things musical. The faculty and student body together share the goal of excellence on the stage and in the classroom. Dedicated to enriching the lives of our students, the Department offers many musical and academic opportunities for students designed to help them grow as musicians and educators.
The future success of our students in the marketplace relies, in part, on the Department of Music’s ability to offer quality facilities and resources, innovative teaching and diverse programs of study. Maintaining our current state and fostering future growth is dependent on the philanthropic support of private and corporate sources. Such support provides the Department with funds for current needs, such as scholarships, facilities, equipment and instruments, guest artist performances and lectures, outreach programs, as well as the ability to allow for future planning.
Those wishing to contribute to the Department of Music may do so in several ways, depending on the means and goals of the donor. Gifts can be in any amount and can be a one-time or recurring contribution. For the convenience of the donor, gifts can be made online or by mail through a variety of payment methods, including gifts by check, credit card and automatic bank draft. Checks should be made payable to the AU Foundation and mailed to 321 Biggin Hall, Auburn, AL 36849.
