Students have the opportunity to become involved in research in faculty labs and outreach and services in the community. We encourage students to get these experiences early in their undergraduate education.
Additionally, students can attend and become involved in Psi Chi. Psi Chi is the International Honor Society in Psychology, founded in 1929 for the purposes of encouraging, stimulating, and maintaining excellence in scholarship, and advancing the science of psychology. This organization promotes unity and education among exceptional honor students in the field of psychology and in fields relating to psychology and the study of behavior.
