About Me
While earning a Bachelor of Science in mechanical engineering at Auburn University, Jason DeBlanc held bass positions for the AU Jazz Band, AU Singers and Auburn Knights. Additionally he participated as a tubist in the concert, pep and marching bands, where he had the great privilege of serving as drum major during his final year.
Since graduation he has been steadily working as a bassist for jazz, rock, funk and country acts in locations from Nashville to New Orleans and most places in between. DeBlanc has been employed with the Office of Information Technology for 17 years and cherishes his time with his wife and two children. He is again honored to serve the music program now as an instructor in the commercial music program.
