About Me
Katherine McKenzie earned her master’s degree in adult education and her bachelor's degree in human development and family studies from Auburn University. She joined the CLA advising team in 2017 and is an active member of the AU Advisors and Counselors Council as well as the National Academic Advising Association. McKenzie is a Monroeville native, raised in a bilingual household that taught her the value of southern hospitality and a Costa Rican 'Pura Vida' lifestyle. As a first generation transfer student, McKenzie has a passion for working with special populations and enjoys helping all students make informed decisions regarding their academic goals.
