Join the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities and Black Belt Treasures Cultural Arts Center for a special holiday event on Saturday, Dec. 7, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. at Pebble Hill in Auburn.
Just in time for Halloween, Auburn Theatre will present “Monstersongs,” a spooky musical adventure. In addition to song, dance and scares, “Monstersongs” allows Auburn students to work with the show’s award-winning playwright.
Benjamin Fagan has been appointed as the Honors College’s assistant director for National Prestigious Scholarships. The associate professor of English will support undergraduate and graduate students from across campus, educating them on national scholarship programs.
As part of the Alabama Folklife Association’s Traditional Artist-in-Residence program, the Caroline Marshall Draughon Center for the Arts & Humanities hosted folk artist Andrew McCall, also known as “The Vine Man.” McCall shared his journey and basket-weaving techniques with Auburn students and community members.
