Growing up in Birmingham, Faith Miller created presentations on Alzheimer's awareness while helping her grandparents cope with diagnoses of Alzheimer's disease and dementia.
When Elizabeth Brestan-Knight joined the Auburn faculty in 1999, she was one of the first in Alabama to be trained in parent-child interaction therapy. Now, the Alma Holladay Professor of Psychological Sciences is expanding the reach of PCIT to the benefit of families around the world.
Werner has recently received two prestigious recognitions from AU. She is the recipient of the Outstanding AU Colleague award for 2020 from the Harrison School of Pharmacy (HSOP), and the SGA Outstanding Faculty Award.
