Werner has recently received two prestigious recognitions from AU. She is the recipient of the Outstanding AU Colleague award for 2020 from the Harrison School of Pharmacy (HSOP), and the SGA Outstanding Faculty Award.
For several years, Kate Craig, associate professor of History with the College of Liberal Arts, has taught Honors versions of World History I and II through a series of role-playing games she calls “Reacting to the Past.”
The lecture, titled “Moving the Needle: What tight labor markets do for the poor,” will address the question, “What happens when jobs are plentiful, and workers are hard to come by?”
